Frequently asked questions

Before your first night at the desk.

Practical answers about the game, the Windows build and the observation loop.

What kind of game is GLASS SKY?

GLASS SKY is an offline astronomy puzzle game for Windows. Compare paired sky plates, inspect differences, classify observations and name the discoveries you earn.

Which Windows systems does it target?

The build targets Windows 10 version 1809 or later and Windows 11 on x64 systems, with an OpenGL 3.3-capable graphics environment. You need a mouse and keyboard. These are declared compatibility targets, not a measured hardware performance guarantee.

Does the game need an internet connection or account?

The game runs offline and does not require an account. It has no ads, telemetry or in-app purchases. Microsoft Store installation and update services operate separately from the game.

How much is there to play?

The campaign covers twelve nights. Completing it opens seeded endless survey across six regions, so you can continue comparing plates and recording finds. Session length depends on how closely you investigate each field.

What language is the game in?

The game interface, campaign text and official website are in English. The prepared release does not include additional game languages.

Where is my progress kept?

GLASS SKY stores progress in local JSON save data on your computer, with a backup and local settings. It does not offer cloud sync or account recovery. Contact support before manually changing a save you want to keep.

Can I reduce the blinking or skip the timing exercise?

Reduced flashing is on by default. The development timing exercise is optional and uses three forgiving rounds when enabled. Plate comparison remains a visual part of play; read the accessibility page for current limitations.

Does it support a controller, Xbox or screen readers?

The prepared build is for Windows x64 with a mouse and keyboard. It does not include controller or Xbox support. Screen-reader support and complete keyboard-only operation are not available.

Where can I check Microsoft Store availability?

The Microsoft Store product identity is 9PL5FGRPH00L. Follow the official Store link for the current regional availability, price and product information. This website does not announce a release date or guarantee that the listing is available in every region.
